Army ROTC

Since the 1990s, Suffolk University’s Army ROTC program has been affiliated with Liberty Battalion, which is hosted at Northeastern University.

Other schools in the battalion include Boston College, Wentworth Institute of Technology, Simmons College, Emmanuel College, Regis College, Framingham State University, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, Berklee College of Music, and New England Conservatory.

Air Force ROTC

In June 2024, Suffolk signed an agreement with Air Force Detachment 355 at Boston University. Suffolk students now have the opportunity to take part in the Air Force ROTC training and experience.

Although Detachment 355 is hosted at Boston University, they maintain crosstown agreements with many other schools in the Boston area, including Boston College, Brandeis University, Bridgewater State University, Emmanuel College, Northeastern University, Simmons University, UMass Boston, and Wentworth IT.

Cadets studying at both BU and crosstown schools attend Leadership Lab and an Aerospace Studies course on the BU Charles River campus.
