Supplemental Committees

Committees are established to advocate for the interests and needs of all students.
To join, observe, or participate in conversation within a supplemental committee, you do not need to be a member of the SGA.

Academics Committee

Addresses concerns within the undergraduate student body to ensure the quality and effectiveness of all CAS and SBS undergraduate programs.

Chair: Milind Kulkarni

Athletics Committee

Supports and promotes Suffolk University NCAA, Club, and intramural athletic programs, encouraging student participation and strengthening school spirit through sports.

Commuter Committee

Addresses the needs and concerns of commuter students regarding resources and support, enhancing their campus experience and assuring their voices are heard.

Chair: Coran Buggy

Dining Committee

Works closely with professional dining staff to improve the overall student dining experience by focusing on quality, variety, dietary needs, and other concerns.

Diversity Committee

Addresses concerns of Suffolk University undergraduate students of diverse or historically marginalized backgrounds in an effort to make the SGA accurately representative of all students.

Chair: Andrew Gomes

Housing and Facilities Committee

Addresses concerns regarding Suffolk University’s physical property, such as residence halls or academic buildings, creating a safe and comfortable experience for all students.

Chair: Sara Tibbetts

Public Relations Committee

Promotes the work of the SGA to the University and surrounding community, managing communication and outreach efforts to build and maintain a positive image of the institution within the community.
The SGA Secretary will serve as Vice Chairperson.

Student Affairs Committee

Focuses on improving non-academic student life by addressing community needs (ex. technology, safety, etc.) supporting student organizations, and organizing events that enrich the campus experience.
