How to Apply

Merit aid is awarded based on the applicant's academic credentials presented on the application for admission. No separate application is required for merit consideration. International students, while not eligible for federal financial aid, will be considered for merit funding at the time of admission.

In addition to merit funding, eligible students are encouraged to apply for federal loans by submitting the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). When applying for aid each year, remember to submit the FAFSA as early as possible after October 1st. New students should not wait for an admission decision to apply for financial aid.

FAFSA

The Department of Education launched the 2024-25 FAFSA form and the FAFSA is now consistently available to be completed and corrected.

Suffolk University remains committed to providing an affordable education to our students. We strongly encourage all eligible students to complete the FAFSA as soon as possible.

As always, if you need assistance you can contact the Office of Student Financial Services.
