Ellen joined the PCD team in July of 2023. Prior to joining the PCD, she served as Assistant Director and Pro Bono Coordinator at New England Law | Boston where she counseled and advised law students and alumni in all aspects of their career searches. In addition, she managed the school's pro bono program and was the lead counselor for government and public interest advising and programming.

Before transitioning to higher education, Ellen worked in New York City as a staff attorney for the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division, in both the Manhattan and Brooklyn offices. As such, she advocated zealously on behalf of indigent criminal defendants from arraignment through trial in misdemeanor and felony matters. She also worked in Atlanta, GA, following law school as a private criminal defense attorney.

Ellen received her BA from the University of Alabama in English and her JD from New England Law | Boston.
