As an honors student, there are many ways to get involved and start building your resume. You can sign up for case competitions, service projects, career development programs, and social and networking events that are designed specifically for honors students.

If you would like a greater level of involvement, you can join the Honors Advisory Council. The council serves as a liaison between the honors student body and the honors program administration. It is a unique opportunity to become actively involved in the program, social activities, and service events.

You’re also eligible to participate in the National Collegiate Honors Council (NCHC) Annual Conference, where honors educators, administrators and students meet. Participating students may present independent research, function as student moderators for conference sessions, and network with members of honors communities from across the U.S.

As an honors student, you’re invited to join a unique Living Learning Community (LLC) of first-year students just like you. You’ll be surrounded by friends and classmates who share your academic interests and enthusiasm for learning.

The LLC will help ease your transition to college and enhance your education with extra-curricular activities, leadership programs, on-site advising, peer mentoring and study groups, and career-related workshops. You and your peers will also work on a community service project and enjoy social events with top-notch faculty members, students, and alumni.
