MBA Bio Form

All Suffolk MBA students are required to submit biographical information and a photo when they start the program. Your information and image will be used on the university website (suffolk.edu) in two ways:

• For you to get to know your classmates/colleagues and encourage better collaboration.
• For classroom clients of class consulting projects. Throughout the program, you will participate in projects with real companies, business simulations, travel seminars, and in interactive discussions with industry experts. Our classroom clients find the class profile very helpful in understanding the depth and breadth of backgrounds for your class.

When uploading your photo, please be sure that the photo is portrait-style (from the waist-up) and that you are professionally dressed. The photo must be high-resolution and at least 1000 pixels. Additionally, it is preferable if you can use a solid background (avoid white in most cases, as it can make the photo color appear blown-out), use natural light, and avoid direct lighting or heavy shadows.

PHOTOGRAPHY BASICS TO FOLLOW:

• Dress professionally
• Smiling with the eyes to appear approachable and confident and make contact with the camera
• High resolution image
• Avoid direct sunlight, shadows, and fluorescent lighting
• Use a solid, bright background color; avoid white in most cases
• Stand with your body in a ¾ angle to the camera, placing one foot slightly ahead with hands clasped loosely in front of you
• Capture waist-up or mid-chest up (avoid head-only and full body images) (no extra people or cropping)
