This 36-credit MBA program provides a competitive edge in nearly any field in less than a year full-time. Break the mold of a traditional business education and jump head-first into Boston’s business landscape with a Suffolk MBA. While completing the Suffolk MBA program, you’ll:

Course Overview

Suffolk’s MBA is built to help you develop the intellectual agility, strategic thinking, and leadership skills that employers seek. You'll gain more than just business knowledge—you'll help real companies solve real problems in real time.

Suffolk's new 36-credit MBA curriculum is offered to students entering the MBA program in the fall 2022 semester or later.

  • Students with a 3.0 or higher four-year undergraduate GPA in a relevant business program will be considered for the MBA Program
  • Students from a non-business undergraduate program will be considered for the MBA with a Concentration in Business Essentials
  • Students below a 3.0 four-year business undergraduate GPA will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis

Applying to Suffolk's MBA Program

Application Deadlines

  • Fall Semester: June 15 (International Applicants), August 15 (Domestic Applicants), then rolling; Submit your completed application by July 1 for Sawyer Business School Fellowship Employment consideration
  • Spring Semester: December 1 (International Applicants), January 4 (Domestic Applicants), then rolling; Submit your completed application by November 1 for Sawyer Business School Fellowship Employment consideration

  • Unofficial transcripts of all post-secondary work. Admitted students enrolling in the program will need to have official transcripts, including proof of degree conferral, on file prior to their first class

  • 2-minute video essay in response to a prompt (Instructions and the prompt will be provided in the application)

    *Applicants to the MBA program with less than one year of relevant, professional work experience are required to submit a second letter of recommendation

Financial Aid for Graduate Study

Suffolk University is pleased to offer both merit- and need-based financial aid to graduate students—these awards can be up to $20,000 per academic year. Merit-based aid is awarded based on the applicant's academic credentials presented on the admission application. No separate application is required for merit consideration.
