Professional Development Sponsorships

In addition to the numerous professional development opportunities available to you as a student through EDGE workshops or the Career Development Center, the Sawyer Business School offers an additional opportunity to a select number of students each year for professional development sponsorship.

If you're interested in joining an external professional organization or attending a professional development workshop, conference, or career related event not offered by Suffolk, you may be eligible to receive funding to help cover the cost of membership/event. A limited number of sponsorships are offered during the fall and spring semesters.

If you are interested in being considered, please complete the Sponsorship Application form below and email it to us at least 30 days prior to the date of the membership you are applying for or event you wish to attend. Approval is based on the review of various criteria and availability of funds. Applicants are eligible for a maximum award of $200 per academic year.
