Graduate Certificate in Data Science
The Graduate Certificate in Data Science provides you with data skills, knowledge, and confidence that are highly transferable among a wide variety of industries. By integrating the most business-relevant technologies used industry-wide—such as Python, Structured Query Language (SQL), machine learning, optimization, deep learning, forecasting, and more—you will be prepared to make valuable contributions to the data science efforts in any organization.
This certificate program is designed to be completed part-time in one or two semesters on campus (with prerequisite coursework in data analytics and/or data management and modeling). You can continue to build on your analytics knowledge by stacking the Graduate Certificate in Data Science with our Graduate Certificates in Data Management or Data Analytics. If you apply to the MS in Business Analytics (MSBA) degree program or another graduate business degree program, you may be able to apply the courses in this certificate program to reduce the time it will take to complete your master’s degree. Please note that these courses do not apply to the MS in Data Science offered through the College of Arts and Sciences.
Courses are taught by leading faculty members at the Sawyer Business School, which is ranked among the best in the world.
