Late Add/Drop Request
If you need to adjust your schedule after the add/drop period, use the Create Request task on your Academics Hub in Workday to submit an online form for Late Add/Drop Request. Failure to withdraw within the add/drop period may result in a grade of “F”.
If you're on an F1 or J1 visa, you may not drop below full-time status, as determined by your academic program. Courses dropped 10 days or more after the start of the academic period will count as attempted credits in accordance with the Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy. In certain cases, this could affect your access to financial aid. Contact the Student Financial Services Office for help.

Short Term Courses
Short term courses do not meet for a full academic period. Because of this, they have different add and drop deadlines than the standard deadlines published on the academic calendar. Please refer to the chart below for the add/drop schedules for short-term courses in Fall 1, Fall 2, Spring 1, Spring 2, Summer 1 or Summer 2 academic periods.
Before dropping, review the short term courses forfeiture schedule for payment liability.
Some specific courses may vary from the below. If you are having difficulty adding or dropping, contact the RAM Center.
