Office of Research & Sponsored Programs
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) provides Suffolk University’s faculty, staff and students with comprehensive guidance and support in their pursuit and conduct of research and scholarly activities.
ORSP works collaboratively with the research community to assist them in advancing Suffolk’s mission of teaching, research and scholarship and provides them with the highest quality customer service and technical expertise.
ORSP provides assistance in three primary areas.
Pre-award services, including:
- Identifying resources and funding sources for research and sponsored projects
- Supporting the development of proposals
- Supporting the development of proposal budgets
- Reviewing and approving all research and sponsored project proposals before submission to external entities
- Negotiating research and sponsored project agreements with external sponsors and sub-recipient organizations
- Providing the “Quick Facts” often needed in developing a grant proposal or application
