About the Dean’s Cabinet
Criteria
Selected members must pledge at least $75,000. Gift commitments can be completed through five annual contributions and must be fulfilled by the fifth year of service.
Responsibilities
Appointed by Dean Andrew Perlman, Dean’s Cabinet members are asked to:
- Provide strategic advice and counsel to the Dean in pursuit of the Dean’s overall programmatic and fundraising goals;
- Enhance the academic profile of the Law School by assisting the Dean with strategic corporate and individual partnerships within the New England region, around the nation, and abroad;
- Identify, cultivate, and engage alumni to become involved with the Law School as well as identify possible nominees to serve in the Dean’s Cabinet; and
- Serve as ambassadors of the Law School to external stakeholders, such as alumni, corporate partners, and prospective students and their parents.
Members of the Dean’s Cabinet are recognized for their generosity throughout the academic year and are included in the University’s Donor Roll.
