While I was looking at colleges, I discovered Suffolk University was the best fit for me. With a double major in government and economics, what better place for me to study than next to the State House?
As early as my first year on campus, Suffolk’s location has already put me in the perfect spot to experience an internship under Governor Charlie Baker! The amazing location makes it easy for students like myself to gain access and opportunity right on campus. I wanted a campus with no walls, which is exactly what I received coming to Suffolk. I walk alongside politicians, CEOs, and so many more professionals working in and around the city everyday as I go to class or the library.
I continue to expand, explore, and succeed here at Suffolk University. It has given me opportunities like an internship with an accounting and lobbying firm in Washington, DC. Opportunity matters, and Suffolk makes sure every student that walks through its doors has it. I'm thankful for my experiences thus far and still have time to go!
