I was initially drawn to Suffolk University because I was captivated by the magnificence, opportunity, and vastness of Boston. While it has a beautiful urban campus, Suffolk’s true beauty shines further in the impeccability of its educational offerings. Boston is at the heart of education in the United States, and I have personally seen Suffolk embody a devotion to knowledge.
As someone who honestly loves learning, is eager to persevere, and hopes to make a difference in this country, it is so inspiring to work alongside students and educators who also strive for such ideals. My exposure to a variety of subjects revealed my true passion for my major, as well as for English and the law. For this revelation, I have the professors at Suffolk University to thank. Their emphasis on thinking versus memorizing facts and their evident expertise in their fields have completely broadened my horizons.
Here at Suffolk, I value the diversity of education most of all. Each class is unique and engaging, and every semester offers something enticing. I am becoming more educated in the most relevant issues for this city and this time.
I have found that Suffolk is truly full of people and opportunities that will challenge you and force you out of your comfort zone. I have learned that I still have a lot to learn, and I find that absolutely exhilarating.
