If someone would have told me four years ago that I would have completed my undergraduate degree in Boston, I would have told them they had a wild imagination.
Coming from Miami, Florida, I was the first person in my family to ever leave for college. I knew I wanted a different experience but had no idea I would end up in the middle of downtown Boston. Moving to a city I had only visited once before was very difficult, but it’s been the best decision I have ever made.
All the people I met and all the opportunities I was able to take advantage of while at Suffolk molded me into the person I am today. I gave tours to prospective students while planning events for the current student body. I went from learning about child development in class to seeing it firsthand at a children's hospital down the street.
In just four years, I did more than I could have ever imagined. The support and love that I was constantly surrounded by are what made Suffolk my home away from home. As long as I had my ‘Ramily’ behind me, there was nothing I couldn't accomplish.
