When I came to Suffolk University in September 2018, I thought I had it all figured out. Little did I know that after my freshman year, my path would change completely. I switched my major to finance and never looked back. Turns out you can’t plan everything in life.
My path in finance has led me to so many wonderful opportunities that I never thought would be possible. I met so many great people and made friendships that will last a lifetime. I truly embraced Suffolk’s mantra of getting involved, and it introduced me to people and experiences that I would have never come across without putting myself out there.
Suffolk University is truly a one-of-a-kind place with so many opportunities waiting for students to take advantage of. If I can offer any advice for any student at Suffolk, it would be to get involved and don’t be afraid to try something new. You never know what might happen.
Suffolk helped me grow into the person I want to be and fall in love with Boston, which I now call my home.
