January 2017 draft—extension to strategic plan
The senior leadership team and the NEASC steering committee, with faculty representation from all three schools, are working on an extension of our current strategic plan to carry us through the next two years (2017-19).
A draft of this strategic plan is now available for review by Suffolk students, staff, and faculty. A final version of the new 2017-19 University Strategic Plan will be presented to the Board of Trustees for its consideration.
Suffolk University is a student-centered institution that nurtures the tremendous capacity for intellectual and professional growth in each of its students. We are passionate about the powerful role education plays in bettering lives, and our commitment to engaging, preparing, and supporting each student is one of our greatest strengths.
Our strategic plan, Charting the Future: A Plan for Suffolk University, identifies seven strategic imperatives that will help us fulfill our mission and achieve our vision. The plan serves as the platform for continuous decision-oriented planning, allowing for rapid action in a changing environment and enhancing accountability. Please take the time to read about the plan on the pages in this section, as well as the plan itself.
As we have for more than a century, Suffolk University will continue to respond to the evolving needs of society and the workplace by providing a transformative, supportive, and experiential education that inspires students and prepares them for successful careers and fulfilling lives.
