Diving into the intricacies of international relations, Suffolk’s Master of Arts in Global Public Policy and Juris Doctor (MAGPP/JD) dual-degree program will prepare you to practice law and make change on a global scale. Along with law classes, you’ll take seminars in international relations theory, policy research and writing, and global policy analysis.

Earned through the College of Arts & Sciences and Suffolk University Law School, this dual degree offers students the foundational knowledge and hands-on experience needed to make a global public impact. You may apply for this program before you enter Suffolk University, during your first year of full-time MAAP studies, or during your Law School studies.

As a student in Suffolk’s MAGPP/JD dual-degree program, you will:

  • Strengthen your international relations experience and expand your network through a required internship in the US or abroad
  • Build a strong foundation in political, economic, and international relations theory
  • Gather and critically evaluate quantitative and qualitative social science research to write compelling, informed policy
  • Learn from a distinguished, passionate faculty of academics and practitioners
