Situated at the intersection of Boston’s local, state, and federal courts and government offices, Suffolk’s Master of Arts in Applied Politics and Juris Doctor (MAAP/JD) dual-degree program will provide you with the foundational knowledge and hands-on experience needed to practice law and make a political impact. Alongside your law classes, you’ll take seminars in electoral politics, policy research and writing, campaign management, legislation, and lobbying.
Earned through the College of Arts & Sciences and Suffolk University Law School, this dual degree offers students an unparalleled opportunity to learn from and engage with the political, policy, and legal profession. You may apply for this program before you enter Suffolk University, during your first year of full-time MAAP studies, or during your Law School studies.
As a student in Suffolk’s MAAP/JD dual-degree program, you will:
