Biography
Professor Sullivan brings a wealth of experience in business law, intellectual property law, and entrepreneurship to the classroom. He teaches courses such as Principles of Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, and Sports Ethics & Law. In the past, he has also taught courses focusing on creativity and innovation in entrepreneurship.
In addition to his academic role, Professor Sullivan is a partner and co-founder of Lando & Anastasi, LLP, an intellectual property boutique law firm in Boston. He specializes in developing strategies to build, maintain, and enforce corporate patent portfolios for clients ranging from entrepreneurs to multinational corporations. His expertise spans diverse technology fields, including analog and digital electronics, power electronics, computer software and hardware, electromagnetics, and computer vision systems. As a former member of the firm's management committee, he contributed to the firm's strategic planning, financial management, and human resources initiatives.
In his classroom, Professor Sullivan emphasizes practical applications of the law, engaging students in discussions on real-world legal and business challenges.
