About David Silverstein

Prof. Silverstein taught MBA, Executive MBA, and undergraduate business law and ethics courses including: Managing in the Ethical and Legal Environment and Legal Protection for Product Innovation. Prof. Silverstein’s expertise was in the field of intellectual property. He maintained a private practice in intellectual property law. His publishing was primarily in various intellectual property issues – trademark, copyright, unfair competition, licensing, etc. In addition to serving as chair of the Business Law and Ethics department, he also served on the Graduate Programs Committee, Faculty Life and Development Committee, Promotion, Tenure and Review Committee, the Undergraduate Programs Committee and Policy and Strategic Planning Committee. His professional service included service as a reviewer for American Business Law Journal, Academy of Legal Studies in Business, Business Ethics Quarterly, and the Journal of Legal Studies Education.
