Biography
Meredith R. Conway is a Professor of Law at Suffolk University School of Law. She teaches a variety of tax law courses, including Corporate Taxation, Partnership Tax, Basic Income Tax and Taxation of Mergers and Acquisitions. Professor Conway s research focuses on business tax issues, the role of fairness in the taxation of business interests, and the effect of tax law on business transactions. She is a frequent speaker on tax law issues, and she has written numerous articles. Prior to joining the Suffolk University, Professor Conway was an Associate Professor at Texas Wesleyan School of law. Following her graduation from law school, Professor Conway was an associate at Drinker Biddle LLP in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her practice focused on the federal taxation of corporations and partnerships, the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, joint ventures, securities offerings, and financial products. Professor Conway received a B.A. in Political Science from Drew University, a J.D. from Rutgers School of Law and an LLM in Taxation from New York University. Professor Conway is admitted to practice law in New York, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
