Biography
William Mee is a seasoned information technology professional with over 40 years of experience in roles including Chief Information Officer, Database Administrator, Application Development Director, and Application Developer for various departments within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Throughout his career, he has developed expertise in all facets of data and information technology, earning multiple awards for his contributions, including the prestigious Manuel Carballo Governor's Award for Excellence in Public Service.
At Suffolk University, Professor Mee has been a dedicated faculty member for over 25 years, teaching a wide range of Information Systems and Business Analytics courses. He played a pivotal role in the development of Suffolk's Business Analytics minor, major, and masters program, as well as the ongoing revisions of the Information Systems major.
In addition to his teaching, Mr. Mee is actively involved in consulting, course development, and mentoring initiatives. He frequently collaborates with industry partners, government agencies, and academic colleagues to integrate real-world applications into his teaching.
