Biography
Dr. Renschler joined Suffolk in 2019 and teaches Accounting Information Systems in both the undergraduate and graduate programs, as well as Auditing at the undergraduate level. Dr. Renschler earned her Ph.D. in Accounting and B.S. in Accounting from Bentley University in Waltham, MA. Prior to entering academia, Dr. Renschler worked for Deloitte in the firm’s New York City audit practice and earned her CPA license. Her research is focused in the field of auditing. She primarily investigates how auditors’ competencies impact financial reporting quality. Her teaching is focused on increasing students’ technical competence and confidence in using various data analytics tools.
