Biography
Dr. Maria Lapeira’s research interests include family businesses, emerging market multinationals, and the internationalization of Latin American firms. She is also interested in studying the role of women in multinationals and their effect on firm performance and strategy. Her teaching experience at Florida International University focused on international business courses and general management courses. Her goal is to connect Latin American businesses with the academic community in the United States to collaborate on consulting projects with Suffolk students.
