Biography
Ms. Linda Akuamoah-Boateng is a healthcare practitioner with administrative, research and clinical experience from the US, the Netherlands and Ghana. She is a licensed Dutch physical therapist, certified professional in healthcare quality (CPHQ) and Lean Green Belt holder. Her areas of expertise include quality improvement, patient safety, health analytics, cross-cultural facilitation, global health; and program monitoring and evaluation.
Her experience includes working with health leaders from Kenya, Ghana, China, Bermuda, Australia, Denmark, New Zealand, the US and other countries to develop quality improvement strategies. Ms. Akuamoah-Boateng has worked with several world renowned institutions including the Massachusetts General Hospital and Boston Children’s Hospital.
She also served as a consultant for the World Health Organization (WHO); her work focused on the development of context-appropriate healthcare quality measurement systems for use in developing and low resource settings.
Ms. Akuamoah-Boateng’ s areas of interest include global health quality improvement, health systems strengthening, capacity building and access to care for vulnerable populations.
