Biography
Dr. Khaksari is an expert in the areas of Corporate Finance and Investments. He has published several books and his research has been published in top tier finance and economic journals such as Financial Management, Journal of Portfolio Management, Journal of Financial Intermediation, Financial Review, Socio-Economic Planning Sciences, and Journal of Fixed Income Securities. He served as the Dean of International Programs, Associate Dean, Chairman of the Finance Department and Director of Graduate Programs at the Sawyer School of Business. He is currently a visiting professor at King’s College in London. Dr. Khaksari founded several graduate and undergraduate programs at Suffolk including MSF program, Global MBA program, Wealth Management, and International Business programs. Shahriar is the founder of the Global Learning Company and the American Institute of Advanced Finance (AIAF), a Chartered Financial Analyst review program acquired by the Washington Post Company. Shahriar has developed and conducted numerous executive training programs and has provided consulting services for both domestic and international firms such as The Gillette Company, Pearson Media Company, Kraft General Food, Smith Barney, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, State Street Bank, BOSE Corporation and Strong Capital Management, in addition to some of the largest banks in Russia.
