Dr. Kaushik Ghosh joined the Suffolk University Sawyer Business School faculty in 2019. Prior to that, he was a tenured Associate Professor of MIS at the College of Business, Lamar University, Texas, where he served key roles in the faculty senate and university research council. He taught courses in Enterprise Systems and IT Project Management in the undergraduate and MBA programs.
At the Sawyer Business School, he teaches courses in IT strategy, data management and modeling, and business analytics in the undergraduate, MBA and MSBA programs. He currently serves as the undergraduate IS curriculum coordinator and department liaison to the undergraduate admissions office. He is a member of the Graduate Program Curriculum Committee and has also served in the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE) Accreditation Standard 6 Committee on "Teaching, Learning and Scholarship".
His research focuses on the impact of technology and digital innovation on healthcare. He has published over thirty peer-reviewed articles in journals and conference proceedings. His published work appears in prominent academic journals such as, Communications of the Association for Information Systems, Health Care Management Review, Journal of Computer Information Systems, and Industrial Management and Data Systems.
He serves as co-chair of the Healthcare IT track at AMCIS, one of the primary conferences in the field of Information Systems and reviews for primary information systems journals. He has collaborated with a number of healthcare organizations for research and consultation services.
