George Hom

Biography

George is a data professional with over 30+ years of experience in many different industries such as: Financials, Healthcare, Pharmaceutical and Entertainment industries. Some of his job titles are: SQL and Database Developer, Database Administrator, Business Intelligence Developer, Lead Data Analyst, Lead Developer and Data Architect. Here is a partial list of the companies he has worked with: Fidelity Investment, State Street Bank, Dell EMC2, Charles River Associates, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Massachusetts; and Capital One.

Currently, George is the Data Architect of the Beloved Boston Red Sox and he brings his expertise in the field of data management to Suffolk University. He is the architect of many Enterprise Data Warehouses on premise and in the cloud for many well-known companies. By adding this very important business intelligence environment, the companies can translate a costly digital liability into a valuable digital reporting asset. Many companies have translated this into increasing revenue and reducing cost on the top and bottom lines of their financial statements based in the decision-making abilities from the data.

He has collaborated on the development and design of the Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) offered by the Information Systems and Operation Management department at the Sawyer Business School of Suffolk University.
