Biography
Andrew Azer is a Certified Public Accountant with 25 years in the accounting profession, including over 20 years in public accounting. He joined Suffolk University in 2011 and has taught various courses at the graduate and undergraduate levels, with his areas of expertise in auditing, managerial accounting, and financial reporting.
Andrew also currently works at CohnReznick, an international CPA firm, as a Senior Audit Manager, working on audit, review, and compilation engagements across a range of sectors, including manufacturing, not-for-profit organizations, employee benefit plans, service industries, and retail. Drawing on his years in the profession, Andrew brings an expansive real-world perspective to the classroom that has helped create a robust experiential learning environment. During his time teaching, he has taught nearly every course in the curriculum, providing students with a comprehensive understanding of the field from multiple angles.
