Biography

Mark Almeida is a dynamic sales and marketing executive who transitioned seamlessly from the private sector to higher education in 2017. With a distinguished career spanning more than 25 years at AT&T, Mark held senior leadership roles in both direct and indirect sales, driving global success.

In higher education, Mark has excelled as an academic and career development professional, leveraging his extensive experience in coaching, mentoring, and program management. Since 2017, he has been a dedicated mentor in Suffolk University, Sawyer Business School’s (SBS) RAM Alumni Mentoring Program and started there as an Adjunct Instructor in SBS’ Management & Entrepreneurship Department.

In 2019, Mark joined Northeastern University as an Academic Advisor and Career Coach, where he managed strategic partnerships with Kaplan and Major League Baseball, facilitating international student recruitment and degree completion for MLB players.

Mark's journey continued at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business in 2021, where he initially served as a Career Coach for MBA students, enhancing their professional development skills. In 2022, he was promoted to Industry Relations Manager, collaborating with technology employers to support undergraduate and MBA students in securing internships and full-time positions.

In July 2023, Mark took on the role of Instructor of Management and Program Director of the Executive MBA Program at Suffolk University. His academic focus includes business consulting capstone courses centered on business strategy and change management. Additionally, as the Director of Employer Partnerships, Mark creates custom learning solutions tailored to the needs of employer partners.

Mark holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management with a Marketing specialization from Mercy University and an Executive MBA from Suffolk University’s Sawyer Business School.
