Mission Statement
The Art & Design Department at Suffolk University offers programs in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, and Interior Design/Architecture. We are an artistic and intellectual community whose goal is to teach students to become thoughtful visual thinkers and practitioners.
The Department encourages its bachelor of fine arts, master of arts, and certificate students to develop an understanding of their discipline, become conversant with traditional and new technologies, and cultivate their professional careers. Our students use the knowledge and skills they gain to help them shape the future and fully participate as creative citizens.
