The Center for Career Equity, Development & Success offers students access to business attire for job interviews, career fairs, classroom presentations and more. Every piece in the Career Closet is offered to students at zero cost.
In alignment with the Career Center’s commitment to fostering an inclusive environment, the Career Closet is organized by size rather than gender and strives to offer clothing in a range of sizes inclusive to every body size and shape.
Visit the Career Closet
The Career Closet is located in the Center for Career Equity, Development and Success on the first floor of 73 Tremont Street. Before visiting, please schedule a Career Closet Consultation appointment using your student profile in Handshake. During your appointment you are welcome to browse the closet by yourself or you may receive assistance from a trained staff member while searching for and trying on items.
While we aim to include clothing for students of all shapes, sizes, and identities, we cannot always guarantee the availability of all styles. When scheduling your Career Closet consultation, we invite you to include your preferences in advance so that if we are unable to meet your needs immediately, we may be able to offer an alternative to accommodate you and take note of inventory gaps for our next clothing drive.
Items you may find in the closet include suits, suit jackets, shirts, blouses, cardigans, blazers, pants, skirts, and dresses. When visiting the Career Closet, you can select up to three items to take per visit, and the clothing is yours to keep permanently.
Donate to the Career Closet
The Career Closet prepares Suffolk students to enter the professional world with the confidence needed to succeed. We rely solely on generous donations from the community to support this initiative. Our partners including alumni, faculty, parents, employer partners and other members of the community are welcome to contribute as we continue to build the Career Closet.
Our center requires an appointment for donations of six items or more items. Please email [email protected] to set up an appointment.
For students who wish to make a larger donation, please visit Handshake to schedule a “Career Closet Appointment” with Laura Marchant or Justine Sennett.
