Suffolk's Master's in Management and Organizational Leadership (MMOL) is designed for graduates of liberal arts and sciences programs seeking to step up in their career and take on a managerial role. Whatever your area of expertise—biotech, education, healthcare, communications, design, computer science—you can strengthen your professional position by adding a thorough grounding in personnel and project management.

While earning your MMOL at Suffolk, you’ll:

MMOL Program Overview

The Curriculum

Proving that you’re ready to motivate, engage, and communicate with a diverse team can make all the difference when you’re looking to be promoted to a managerial role. Our curriculum is purpose-built to teach you how to think like a leader and ground you in organizational behavior, negotiation, interpersonal skills, leadership, team-building, conflict resolution, and successful management of people and projects.

Through this 30-credit program, you’ll graduate prepared to excel in a variety of leadership roles, ranging from human resource specialist and operations manager to contract administrator and project coordinator.

Application Deadlines

  • Fall Semester: June 15 (International Applicants), August 15 (Domestic Applicants), then rolling

  • $50 Application Fee (waived for students who visit campus or attend an event)

  • Unofficial transcripts of all post-secondary work. Admitted students enrolling in the program will need to have official transcripts, including proof of degree conferral, on file prior to their first class
  • Goal Statement (essay)
  • 2-minute video essay in response to a prompt (Instructions and the prompt will be provided in the application)
  • Reference/Recommendation (learn more)

Financial Aid for Graduate Study

Suffolk University is pleased to offer both merit- and need-based financial aid to graduate students—these awards can be up to $20,000 per academic year. Merit-based aid is awarded based on the applicant's academic credentials presented on the admission application. No separate application is required for merit consideration.
