About Michael Barretti
Professor Michael Barretti, an esteemed alumnus, joined the Sawyer Business School faculty as a marketing instructor in 1999 and went on to direct the EMBA program from 2004-13. As a faculty leader, mentor, and friend, he has left an indelible mark on the business education landscape and the Suffolk community at large.
Mike’s distinguished career spanned multiple sectors, highlighting his versatility and leadership acumen. His professional journey included C-level positions in the medical technology field, where he had been at the forefront of healthcare innovation. Mike’s commitment to service was evident in his military background, having retired as a Major from the United States Marine Corps. His expertise was further recognized through his roles on various corporate boards, where he provided strategic guidance and oversight. Additionally, Mike contributed to the development of future business leaders as a faculty advisor to the MBA Association, sharing his wealth of experience with aspiring professionals.
