This course is designed for students pursuing the graduate pathway program at Suffolk University to develop students' critical thinking and analysis skills and knowledge for study at a US University. These skills are developed through cross disciplinary academic-related themes that are tailored to students' specific fields of interest/study. Course activities and assessments include critical reading, primary and secondary research, report writing, oral presentations, and career-focused networking. This is a non-credit course.

This course is designed to foster the development of a range of skills necessary for success in graduate school and professional practice. The course provides students the opportunity to master graduate-level competencies in areas such as information literacy; professional ethics; time management and project completion; critical thinking and analysis; and scholarly writing. Students will focus on enhancement of presentation skills and the development of voice and perspective in their written work.
Upon successful completion of the MA in Applied Politics Pathway program, the student must follow the policies of the Master of Arts in Applied Politics program.
