Academic English Level 3 Archive 2020-2021
Academic English level 3 is designed for students with low intermediate English language proficiency. In level 3, students will build on their foundational English skills and be challenged with more advanced concepts in English language such as critical reading and writing techniques, speech and pronunciation, as well as more advanced vocabulary and grammar concepts.

This course is designed to explore the many aspects of American culture by not only reading about the history, but also by visiting history. Historical sites include and are not limited to the State House of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the John F. Kennedy Library, The Old North Church, the Greenway and the Freedom Trail. The focus of the course may also include discussions about businesses, current events, and popular culture in the United States. This course is designed for students at a low intermediate level. This is a non-credit course.
