** English majors in the literature concentration must take three of the four surveys in Literary History and are required to take ENG 213 and ENG 217.

**** Two electives must be at the 300-level or above; one elective can be from any ENG course numbered 100 and above.
Note: The Modern Language requirement may be fulfilled by a competency level of 102 or above and a minimum of one language course in any language other than English. Exemption from the modern language requirement is granted at the proficiency level of 202 in any qualifying language.
It is recommended that students who have free electives take PHIL-212 (Formal Logic) prior to taking the LSAT.
