Black Excellence Dinner

“We are Suffolk University, and we are a powerful force for good. It is a power derived from the strength of our community, from our commitment to inclusion and our dedication to an essential mission. We have been a force for good for more than a century, improving the lives of countless individuals along the way. And that is how we want the world to know us.”

-Suffolk University President
Dr. Marisa J. Kelly

The Suffolk University Black Alumni Network (SUBAN) celebrates and serves current and future Black alumni through mentoring, philanthropy, volunteerism, and events. Our goal is to continue to build this collaborative alumni network in support of the University's strategic objectives.

The network supports the recruitment, retention, academic achievement, and successful graduation of Black, African, and Caribbean diaspora students. The network also supports the career development and professional opportunities of students and alumni. All Suffolk graduates are invited to join the Black Alumni Network.

Support the SUBAN Scholarship

The Suffolk University Black Alumni Network (SUBAN) Scholarship Fund has been established to support students with financial need who are minoring in Black Studies, or are involved in the Black Student Union, the Black Law Student Association, other diversity-focused student organizations, or who have a demonstrated knowledge of and/or academic interest in under-represented minority populations. Your gift will help lessen the financial burden on our talented and hardworking Suffolk students.
