Our broad-based liberal arts degree provides a solid foundation in the theatre and an education for life. The personally tailored, flexible theatre curriculum is filled with rich interdisciplinary possibilities that can adapt to who you are and what you want to become. At Suffolk, you can change your mind as you grow.
Direct mentorship from our faculty will help you confidently move in the world as a practitioner in the performing arts or in many other professions. Suffolk's Theatre Department will train you to innovate, create, build, and lead.
Suffolk student productions take center stage at our jewel-box Modern Theatre in Boston's lively Theatre District and at the more-intimate Sullivan Studio Theatre in the Sawyer Building. Add in Boston's collection of beloved theatres and jam-packed arts calendar, and you have the ideal training ground for theatre majors.
Please note: There is no audition to enroll in the theatre major or to participate in our classes.
