Center for Urban Ecology & Sustainability

The Center for Urban Ecology and Sustainability (CUES) at Suffolk University takes an interdisciplinary approach to environmental studies. The Center brings together science, business, social sciences, and the arts to tackle some of the most critical policy and societal issues of the 21st century.

Faculty, staff, and students from around the University collaborate around urban sustainability issues in an innovative, multidisciplinary way to examine sustainability and how humans can better coexist with the natural ecosystem in an urban context.

Lecture Series & Brown Bag Lunch Events

The Center for Urban Ecology and Sustainability sponsors a series of lectures and brown bag lunch forums that's open to the Suffolk community. These events focus on a broad range of topics including environmentalism, sustainability, environmental health, food systems and food insecurity, oceanography and coastal issues, climate change, and science communication.
