MHA Concentrations

The operations management track prepares healthcare professionals to lead and implement operational excellence in their organizations. Students in this track will acquire knowledge and develop skills in supply chain management, project management, and data analytics. By the time they graduate, students are required to attain Green Belt Lean Six Sigma Certification.

Students in this track gain skills needed to improve the quality of care and patient safety at their organizations. Students are prepared to analyze healthcare data, apply conceptual models to assess performance, and lead organizational improvement.

The healthcare data analytics track provides students with training in quantitative methods. Students gain computing skills which allow them to analyze, visualize and report healthcare data to make evidence-based decisions.

Application Deadlines

  • Fall Semester: July 15 (International Applicants), August 15 (Domestic Applicants), then rolling
  • Spring Semester: December 1 (International Applicants), January 4 (Domestic Applicants), then rolling

  • Completed application
  • $50 Application Fee (waived for students who visit campus)
  • Unofficial transcripts of all post-secondary work. Admitted students enrolling in the program will need to have official transcripts, including proof of degree conferral, on file prior to their first class
  • Resume
  • Goal Statement (essay)
  • 2-minute video essay in response to a prompt (Instructions and the prompt will be provided in the application)
  • Two Letters of Recommendation (learn more)
  • Official GMAT or GRE scores are not required
  • Official TOEFL, IELTS, or PTE-Academic Scores (international students only)

Financial Aid for Graduate Study

Students enrolled in the Online SBS graduate programs and Online SBS Dual programs have several options to help finance their graduate studies.

Eligible students can apply for federal loan funding by completing the FAFSA at Federal Student Aid using Suffolk’s Federal School code 002218. Students can also apply for alternative loan funding.
