Senior Erin McAndrews has been named the Great Northeast Athletic Conference (GNAC) Softball Player of the Week.

Erin McAndrewsMcAndrews excelled in the Rebel Spring Games during the softball team's annual spring trip to Clermont, Florida.

She hit at a .571 clip (16-for-28) in eight games for the Rams. Nine of the 16 were extra-bases hits—five doubles, four triples—as she compiled a 1.036 slugging percentage.

McAndrews had back-to-back 4-for-4 games, including Suffolk's 7-2 victory over Skidmore College on Friday. She drove in four runs with two singles, a double and a triple in that game. She finished the week driving in seven runs while also scoring seven times for Suffolk.

In the 2013 season, McAndrews was named GNAC Player of the Year and was a National Fastpitch Coaches Association second-team Northeast All-Region selection.
