Susan Nichter: Never Been Seen
The New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University presents Susan Nichter: Never Been Seen, an exhibit of new paintings and digital prints from the artist.
Nichter’s drawing and brushwork is simple, yet at the same time deeply complex. The ideas of string theory and psychic intuition heavily influence this new body of work.
The artist skillfully balances a palate of electric yet soothing colors, emotional tensions and calm.
Nichter has been a painter for more than 20 years and is a professor at the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University.
The exhibit is free and open to the public and will be at the gallery from Thursday, Oct. 11, through Saturday, Nov. 10, 2007.
There will be a reception with the artist from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12. An illustrated catalogue of works in the exhibition will be available. A gallery talk will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23 .
