University Gallery presents "Passion Engine"

Exhibit of work from New England School of Art & Design faculty artists includes interactive focus on title topic

The Suffolk University Gallery presents Passion Engine: New England School of Art & Design Faculty, from Sept. 8–Oct. 9. A reception for the artists will be held from 5–7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8.

The open-ended theme Passion Engine encompasses the breadth of the work produced by full-time faculty of Suffolk University’s New England School of Art & Design. The exhibition includes drawings, paintings, sculpture, and design.

The relationship of the faculty artists to their respective practices is essential to their ability to nurture and guide students. Their work is tied to their passion, which guides their teaching as well as demonstrates their relationship to each other as colleagues, both on and off campus. In this way they all make an important contribution to Suffolk University as a whole.
