Enrollment & Degree Verification

Suffolk University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to verify degree and enrollment information for our current and former students.

Current Students

All third-party requests for degree and enrollment verifications are conducted by the NSC. The University Registrar's Office recognizes some enrollment verification certificates available through the NSC may not meet your specific needs. In these instances, you may use the Create Request task on your Academics Hub to submit the Enrollment Verification Request electronic form. The completed enrollment verification will be available within 2-3 business days in your Workday Student Profile, within the Personal section under Documents.

An enrollment verification includes student enrollment status for an academic period, school, degree pursued, program of study, and expected completion date. Enrollment verifications are often used for health insurance, housing providers, or other organizations requiring proof of enrollment. Note, we are unable to verify enrollment for an upcoming academic period until the student is registered for that academic period. Additionally, a new student cannot be verified until they have been registered in classes.

Alumni/Former Students/Third Parties

Suffolk University has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) to act as its agent for the verification of degree and enrollment information for current and former students. The NSC conducts all alumni/former student/third-party requests for degree and enrollment verifications. Requestors can use the NSC’s online verification feature or call them at 703-742-4200.
