Mission

Boston is at the center of some of the most celebrated real estate in America, home to a wide range of real estate asset classes that create a natural laboratory for case studies.

Suffolk University, strategically located in Downtown Boston, is in close proximity to developers, city and state officials, construction management firms, architectural firms, and other professional collaborators in the development of case studies. Within just a few blocks of the University, several major real estate projects, including the redevelopment of the historical Filene’s Basement and reconstruction of condominiums, hotels, and theater buildings, are underway.

Suffolk’s location, combined with a cross section of talented faculty in business, liberal arts, and law, represent a robust teaching opportunity and fertile platform for the Center for Real Estate.
