Suffolk student-athletes’ academic talent is on a par with their athleticism, as shown by the 147 Rams who earned a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the 2017 spring semester.
To qualify for honor roll distinction, student-athletes must earn a grade point average of at least 3.0 and pass at least 12 quarter units.
“Suffolk athletics’ success on the field, court, and ice is directly correlated to our student-athletes’ success inside the classroom, and we could not be more proud of what they achieved in academia and athletics throughout the 2017 spring semester,” said Director of Athletics Cary McConnell.
McConnell emphasized that the entire Suffolk athletics community – student-athletes, teams, coaches, and staff – strive to embody the true definition of a Division III student-athlete.
“Student first, athlete second,” he said.
