The Adams Gallery presents its annual juried show of work from the Fine Arts program of the New England School of Art & Design at Suffolk University.
The sixth annual Springboard exhibition, at the Adams Gallery through July 6, 2014, features a wide variety of media and ideas and reflects the rich creative practices the recent graduates developed for their senior thesis work as they completed the bachelor of fine arts degree.
Works by the following artists, all of whom earned BFAs in Fine Arts this year, are featured in the Springboard exhibit:
- Sharon Eblacker, Left Room, recipient of the 2014 Fine Arts Juror's Award, presented by Lexi Lee Sullivan, the associate curator of contemporary art at the Decordova Sculpture Park and Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts
- Karl Benner, Shadows, felt, wood, pipe cleaners; Dunes, video projection
- Emily Dumala, Evanescent, mixed media
- Mallory Salvaggio, Untitled, photography installation
The Adams Gallery is free and open to the public from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m. daily, except for major holidays.
