Brian joined the PCD team as an Assistant Director in October 2012. Previously, Brian was a Litigation Associate at K&L Gates, LLP, where he served as a summer associate in 2007. In his practice, he represented corporate and individual clients in matters involving commercial litigation, bankruptcy, health care, class action defense, mortgage banking, and government enforcement. He also served on a trial team that represents generic pharmaceutical manufacturers in the nationwide Average Wholesale Price litigation, which consists of 50 separate lawsuits pending in state and federal courts around the country, including a qui tam action under the Federal False Claims Act and numerous civil enforcement actions brought by state attorneys general. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts, the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, and the United States Bankruptcy Court. Brian is a member of the American Bar Association, Boston Bar Association, and the Massachusetts LGBTQ Bar Association.

While in law school, Brian served as a legal intern for Liberty Mutual Insurance Co., as a law clerk for Petrucelly, Nadler & Norris, P.C., and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Raymond J. Brassard of the Massachusetts Superior Court. Prior to his legal career, he worked for Columbia Management Group (a division of Bank of America) as a trainer in career, leadership, and management development. He was also a Series 6 and 63 licensed financial representative.

Currently, Brian serves as a business consultant for Vaughn-Martel Law, a small firm in Boston’s South End that specializes in family law, estate planning, real estate, and general civil litigation. He is a 2008 graduate of Northeastern University School of Law and holds a B.A. in Psychology (along with concentrations in Sociology and Music) from the College of Holy Cross.
